I, Demetrius, am in the midst of sailing out to Memphis in Egypt. I have left my hometown of Helos for the largest city in Egypt, which I have always dreamt of visiting. The water is calm and I am filled with hope.

I was able to organize plans through a friend of mine, who was recently visiting and was acquainted with locals. I am lucky to be staying with the family of a man named Dakarai and his wife Masika.

I expect to reach Egypt in a matter of days, should the weather allow for it, and will update upon my arrival.
